1) Is Mexico really hazardous?


I'm sure you have heard on the news about the current crime in Mexico. Well the truth is that it has always existed, but along the time the authorities have been corrupted, poisoned by drug dealers, mainly. Y si ahora se escucha de las matanzas, es porque despues de años y años, por fin se le esta combatiendo, no solo al crimen organizado, sino también a las instituciones públicas que has sido infectadas.

It reminds me the movie Batman, The phenomenon going on in my country and state is like living in Gothic City. I can tell you it's being a very strong battle, but I'm sure something good will come up from all this. Of course, we as citizens have to do a lot to do to contribute stop this situation.



2) Mexico. ¿Educación del primer mundo?

Se han hecho muchas inversiones notables en las escuelas pública, y una de las más importantes es la capacitación y actualización del profesorado, desde la educación básica, media y hasta superior.
But what is the reality? I consider this unfinished process is enriching the Education System, more specifically, the Teaching Staff, but unfortunately is working at all when we talk about the children's learning. I thing it is because the process is not adequate. For instance: Teachers are told that students do not have to fail, and dictation, tests should be replaced by the development of competences through projects, almost exclusively.
I believe ancient methods, techniques, approaches, etc... are the complement of the new ones and vice versa.

Built by Agustiniano monks when Spaniards were evangelizing the inhabitants of the New Spain.
